Asalam and salam sejahtera to all, here i'd like to share some info about tyres that i had used on my fazer fz1000s model 2005. here are the list of tyres ive tested so far.. note: ***** 5 stars (excellent) Bridgestone 014 - truly aggressive sportbike tyres condition: hot & dry weather : ***** wet & rainy weather: *** Description: sticks like glue on hot roads!!! totally fun, but slippery when on wet roads, a pain in the buck tyre, not good for long and straight distance roads ---- Bridgestone 020 - good touring tyre condition: hot and dry weather : ***** wet & rainy weather: **** Description: not really a "conering" type of tyre, reliable on touring roads at whether in hot or wet conditions, really slippery when worn out ( like any other tire though!) ---- Metzeler z4 - slippery!! condition : hot and dry + wet & rainy weather : not rated! Description : it was the original tyre when i bought my bike! all i know it was all slippery. i eventually used the tyre for just 1 month because it was damaged. got a good d e a l for it though for 50 bucks hehehhe. Metzeler z6 - drift tyre!best! conditons : hot and dry + wet & rainy weather: both ****** Description: helps you corner with drifting technology! haha * thumbs up* love this tyre.. nowadays the price is more pricey than michelin pilot road. next is... Michelin pilot Road - best touring tyre! very reliable. conditions: hot and dry + wet & rainy : both ***** Description: like it's predecessors the macadam, it is really reliable in treadwear.. totally a perfect touring tyre. enough said. Michelin pilot road 2 - 2nd best touring long use tyre. conditions: hot & dry: ***** stars wet & Rainy: **** stars Description: slippery when going straight at wet conditions but coners perfect, totally perfect in hot conditions despite it's 2 compound technology. I still use it today although it has worn out, still sticks in rainy condition and masters in hot conditions. so thts it.. i hope by sharing ya'll my experience in using these tyres will be helpful for you guys!! so wat do you guys think??? note: all tyres bought from BM MOTORSUPPLY @ YAMAHA DEALER BRUNEI. : cheers!! |
