PETALING JAYA 3 Nov.

sedikit info dr forum sebelah...just untuk pengetahuan kita bersama...credit to Mr.Farid... Okay, let’s do the math…(based on current D&T structure) Contoh.. sebiji R1’09 1) The price of the bike itself (harga masa pemegang AP beli from oversea distributors) * Anggaran shj (could be less or more) USD8000 x 3.5 = RM28000 2) Freight cost (kos pengangkutan) RM5000 3) Duties & tax from Malaysian government 90% x 28000 = RM25200 4) Profit margin from the AP holder / distributors 40% x selling price of 97000 = RM38,800 1+2+3+4 Total = RM97,000 OTR RM101,000 So now you see the components…. Sapa yg makan besar?? Government or AP/distributors?? |

Impact of RM10,000 fee for open AP ‘minimal’ THE imposition of a RM10,000 fee for each approved permit (AP) on open AP holders in 2010 is positive, but the impact will be minimal, motor analysts and observers say. The proposal, announced in Budget 2010 yesterday, will be effective from Jan 1, 2010. A portion of this collection will be channelled into a bumiputra development fund in the auto sector. Open AP holders comprise sellers of second-hand, luxury and tuned-up cars. “The introduction of a RM10,000 fee certainly is a positive step from a political stance on the auto industry as a whole, but the real impact would be minimal as the open AP buyers were typically rich people who can afford luxury/tuned-up cars,” an analyst said. “It’s good that it adds money to the Government’s coffers rather than going into unwanted hands. But the underlying thing is that this open AP policy still does not abide to the World Trade Organisation ruling, given its discriminative policy favouring only bumiputra businessmen,” the analyst added. An industry observer, who declined to be named, concurred that open AP holders were mainly rich, bumiputra, politically-linked individuals. “For a person buying a car that costs hundreds of thousands of ringgit, what is another RM10,000,” he said, adding that the additional RM10,000 per approved AP could be used for the auto development fund. Some local second-hand car dealers, when contacted, said it was too soon to comment, saying they needed to understand what the new measure was all about. The Malaysian Automotive Association, meanwhile, could not be reached for comments at press time. sebelum ni AP fee adalah sebanyak RM5000.00....kenaikan untuk tahun hadapan mungkin akan memberi kesan terhadap harga motosikal import untuk tahun 2010.
